The FIFA World Cup 2010 is to take place in South Africa between June 11 – July 11 and it’s the biggest event in the world sporting calendar.
Bollywood music composers Salim-Sulaiman will be composing a song and performing live at the opening & closing ceremonies of the gigantic sporting event with South African singers Loyiso Bala & Eric Wainaina.
However, the big news is that Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor is in talks with the FIFA event managers.
Media sources say that Kareena, who has a very tight work schedule, is actually taking time off for a music video for the FIFA event alongside Hollywood hottie Matt Damon!
It is indicated that the action around this music video is big, with the budget surpassing anything that Bollywood has ever seen or done before.
And besides Kareena, other Hollywood superstars who will participate in the video are Kevin Spacey & Jessica Alba.
Kareena, who is participating in the last day shoot of Karan Johar’s remake of Stepmom at a Mumbai studio, is said to be currently working out her dates, costumes and other details with her core team.
“Expect an announcement with all details shortly. The Hollywood-Bollywood relationship is getting stronger with each passing day. And this video could well be one of the majorly touted ones since it carries heavyweights from both sides,” said a media insider.
