New York Fashion Week - Fall/Winter 2010 Pt 4 - Vera Wang, Rodarte & Badgley Mischka


Vera Wang

Known for her artsy and feminine dressing, Vera Wang ventured into a more cleaned-up, leaning towards some 'minimalist' looks (or her version of it) with several pieces of this collection. I loved her first look with the black wool pantsuit with narrow, slightly elongated jacket, trimmed with organza corsages on the shoulders. This collection had beautiful tailoring with a definite Vera Wang feminine touch. Loved the twisted pearl necklaces worn throughout, and the stunning tailoring and draping in every piece...
















Rodarte

Even though I would not wear some of the pieces below, the Mulleavy's sisters playful work with fabrics, textures and colours is just beautifully done, who say they went back to their Mexican roots for this collection...











Badgley Mischka

Even though the rosette dresses were beautiful, my eye went straight for the last few gray pieces that look so wearable, yet effortlessly stylish:
