Little Brigadeiro has arrived!


I cannot believe Little Brigadeiro is two weeks old today! Mr Brigadeiro & I are absolutely smitten!

This was the 'last meal' I had before heading to the hospital, nothing like yummy Japanese:


Tuna tataki (lightly seared tuna sashimi) with crisp leek and ponzu vinaigrette

Takoyaki (light, crispy octopus & vegetable puffs served with Japanese BBQ sauce, mayonnaise and Bonito flakes) & Age-Gyoza (homemade dumplings)

Spider roll (soft shell crab sushi)

Unagi Don (Eel & rice)

Katsudon (crumbed pork & yummy potato salads)

Little B's first outing (while I was still under 'hospital care')

Just because I was under 'hospital care' does not mean I did not get to eat well (especially in the last two days): Tasmanian smoke salmon with Persian fetta and watercress salad and kalamata olives

Chargrilled octopus on warm kipfler potatoes with seasonal bitter leaf salad

Vanilla bean panacotta with delicious berry compote & friand

One week old...

She has Mr Brigadeiro & I wrapped very tightly around her little finger...

And is always hungry!
